Next set of PHILSSA officers named

Philhealth President and CEO, Dr. Rey Aquino, was elected as the Chairman of Philippine Social Security Association (PHILSSA) together with two other new officers in an election, during a recent PHILSSA Executive Board Meeting.

In the same meeting, Mr. Emilio S. De Quiros Jr., SSS-PCEO and Executive Director Evelyn F. Tablang were chosen as the Vice Chairman and Treasurer, respectively.

The term of this new set of officers will be effective on July 1, 2011 until June 30, 2013.

Traditionally, during PHILSSA elections, Vice Chairman is automatically appointed as Chairman and so there is only a need to elect for the position of Treasurer and Vice Chairman.
